Introducing Remedies on the Rocks, featuring our Drink of the Month: "Just Peachy," a Hash Rosin infused beverage blending the sweet, fruity flavors of watermelon & peach. Start with the Prep:
Take the fresh pineapple and watermelon, dice into small cubes. set aside half and place THE other half of the FRUIT cubes in a SMALL bowl. Keep bowl in the fridge to chill while you prepare your drink.
In another small bowl, add 1 teaspoon brown sugar and a 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, blend until mixture becomes fine.
On a small plate, pour out a splash of pineapple juice on to the plate. Set glass rim down on the plate, and spin rim in the pineapple juice. Take glass over to the plate with your chili/brown sugar mix, place glass down on the plate and spin until a small circle forms, lightly coating your rim in the chili powder/brown sugar mixture.
Get that Shaker out:
Add half a cup of ice into your shaker, and take out your jig.
Using the jig, pour into shaker 2 fl oz’s of “just peachy”, 2 fl oz’s of pineapple juice and half a sprig of rosemary.
Add 1-2 cubes of the fresh pineapple and watermelon that was set aside earlier.
Seal shaker with second half and shake well!
The Final Pour:
Take out the fruit bowl that's been chillin' out in your fridge and drop a small handful of fresh watermelon and pineapple into the prepared glass.
Grab your strainer and place over top of shaker. Pour shaken drink into the prepared glass.
Add 1 fl oz of lime seltzer.
Garnish with the other half of Rosemary and enjoy!
